The iris of the eye
The mesmerizing iris is the stunning colorful ring in our eyes that regulates the amount of light we receive; it is a thin, round structure that regulates the diameter and size of the pupil. It receives visual information from its surroundings and adjusts the size of the pupil based on that information. Contraction and relaxation of muscles in the iris can change the size of the pupil, allowing more or less light to enter the eye.
Are you mesmerized by your eyes? The fascinating color and unique design of the iris is made up of the stroma, which is composed of cells that contain pigment. The pattern of your eyes is incomparably unique - appearing in vivid shades of blue, gray, green and brown. The striking radial grooves that form distinctive rings, lines and freckles make it undeniably unique; so much so that people say, "That's how those eyes look!" The iris is made up of a combination of ridges, grooves and other features, so each iris is unique, making your eye recognition unparalleled!
What is iris recognition?
Iris recognition is an advanced biometric technology that identifies individuals by analyzing the complex and unique patterns of the iris, which are the colored rings surrounding the pupil. These patterns are formed randomly before birth and remain stable throughout a person's life, making the iris a highly reliable biometric identifier. The process utilizes complex mathematical algorithms applied to video images of one or both irises to ensure accurate and consistent recognition.
